THE FUTURE OF SUPERHEROES IS IN THE CARDS

BOYNTON BEACH, FLA., January 14, 2002 -- Cyber Age Adventures, the publisher of superhero fiction, announced today that their ground-breaking tarot deck will be published by U.S. Games Systems, Inc..

Officially titled "The Fradella Adventure Tarot: Heroes and Villains of Cyber Age Adventures," the 78-card deck has the distinction of being the world's first complete superhero tarot deck. All of the characters depicted in the deck are original creations who make their home in the Cyber Age Universe.

Company founder and deck creator Frank Fradella penned the deal after nearly two years of development, but states that the reaction from U.S. Games Systems was immediate and positive.

"We'd sent them a proposal on a Thursday and by Monday they were on the phone with us," Fradella said. "We had a contract in our hands in less that 24 hours. It was amazing. They just loved it."

U.S. Games Systems, Inc. is the largest publisher of playing cards and tarot decks in the world and will be distributing the deck globally. They'll also be publishing a book specifically written for the deck by Frank Fradella, which will include a sampling of stories on which some cards were based.

The deck features artwork by Canadian illustrator JP Dupras, and cites Katrina Hutchins as an early collaborator.
